Museum of America: The Turn of a Century (1790-1799)

            The era surrounding in the transition from the 18^th to 19^th centuries is not widely discussed in today’s school system. The founders of the Museum of America: The Turn of a Century (1790-1799) felt that this lack in the substantial teaching of the period had to be resolved. With this passion for spreading the knowledge, the founders felt that they needed to create a center of education for specifically this topic. What better institution would satisfy this need other than a museum?

Located in upstate New York, The MOA resides in the cool, evergreen area near the Adirondacks. The museum features 7 rooms, each dealing with a theme that resided in the time period. In the rooms, artifacts both from and after the time period are featured giving both perspectives of artifacts from the time and after it occurred. Some of these items were actually handled by the “Founding Fathers” themselves.

In other news, due to the recent bond between our museum and Taco Bell ©, many other companies have decided to jump on the bandwagon and request a partnership in order to promote growth for their organizations. Due to the abundance of land that we own, it is possible for us to lease our land to those who wish to set up their businesses on it. This also works out for MOA because each company contributes a small percentage of their monthly income to our funds. So, don't be surprised when Jack in the Box begins to show up.
