In this time of a new government, America experienced many firsts that had not been achieved with the prior form of ruling that they had been held under. This room compliments a small portion of these achievements.

Edward Jenner’s 1st Draft of Vaccination and Chart of Smallpox Death Rates
USS Warships plans from first American Navy
Postal Act of 1792
John Jay Bust – First Supreme Court Chief Justice (bronze sculpture)
Cotton Gin – Eli Whitney (Also featured in this room is a functional cotton gin where guests can turn the crank and actually deseed real cotton.)
