With a new form of government, America was forced to develop a fresh way of handling monetary measures. The coins in this room represent the nation’s faith in its system, rather than relying upon other countries’ currency for stability.

Washington’s Sword – Whiskey Rebellion  (The sword was carried by Washington as he went to subdue the Whiskey Rebellion that was caused by a tax on Whiskey implemented by Alexander Hamilton.)
